First day in London for bootcamp 3.0. Staying at Doubletree Tower of London and crossed Tower Bridge for dinner
Back across Tower Bridge to capture City Hall and the Shard. HMS Belfast is also in there
Haythem and I took a walk around the city. Loved ths old church in front of the Gurkin
Took the team on 'Jack the Ripper' walking tour and finished off at 'The Ten Bells' pub. The tiles are listed and so they would have been on these walls at the time of Jack himself!!
Last day of bootcamp 3.0 and out for a last dinner and drinks. I think I earned this one :)
Very early flight this morning (6.55am departure) and you know it is early when you are the first person on the plane
we lucked out on the walk today. Between heavy showers we managed to get the blue sky!

Last morning in Perigian and so I went for an early morning swim at 6am.
A great day in Sydney today. Saw several parts of the city I had not seen before including this area - Lavender Bay.
Bungoona Lookout. I just love this place. A great walk/run up to it and then you see this. Just amazing.
After the 40C day yesterday, a Southerly Buster came through and what a change in the weather. The temp dropped about 20C and it rained. Lots of happy people in Sydney

After 3 weeks at doggy day care, someone went for a well needed bath and hair cut

In the taxi to the airport I asked the driver did he really vote today? He laughted once he figured out what I was talking about. He had not even noticed the sticker, but told me he had out it there years ago.
Is this the most 'calorific' meal I have ever eaten? Fried Chicken, Mac and Cheese, green beans and yes, a massive glazed doughnut on top. In my defence, I did not eat the doughnut nor the mac and cheese.
